The Gordon Holton Memorial DGC is located just 15 minutes north of the Host Hotel.  Follow U.S. Rt. 23 North for 13 miles to a right into Delaware State Park.  5261 U.S. 23 Delaware, OH 43015   Follow park road to Sweet Gum Grove. Look for Disc Golf signs. Hole 1 starts with hole playing toward the lake.  The course features lovely vistas of Delaware Lake on a few of the 27 hole layout.  A nice variety of wooded and open holes, some with elevation.  Mostly shaded and easy to navigate.  For practice rounds, can park at a variety of places and start on different holes. The Player's Course - Alum Creek State Park
Address to entrance of New Galena Boat Launch and Player's Course.

The Player's Course @ Alum Creek is about 20 minute drive from host hotel.  Follow U.S. Rt. 23 south to a left onto Cheshire Road.  Follow Cheshire road across the lake to a right on Africa Rd.  At the corner of Cheshire and Africa, Be sure to stop at Cheshire Mkt. for food, snacks and beverages.   Travel about 3 miles to a right into the New Galena Boat Launch.  Turn left at start of large parking area.  Hole one starts in woods to left.  The Player's Course @ Alum Creek is another great OH State Park course that features gorgeous views of the lake along with some challenging elevation creating fast greens.  Water does come into play on 6 holes.  See course map and notations about restrooms, water faucets and hole #15.
